So far the book is boring, as it feels the exposition is a never ending part of the story, I feel the only compelling part of the story is the suspense "The Society" creates, as it feels that "The Society" is very mysterious and powerful, thus making it have a more powerful background story line, while the main story line is boring and uninteresting. However, the description of the characters and setting is hefty, giving the reader a great visual image of what is happening, as for me, I think the story is boring and slow due to the amount of description and the uninteresting main story line. - James Lo
I agree with James, so far in the book it is boring, but i think that it will get more exciting as you read on like most books. Most books start of boring, but as you get deeper into the book they get more interesting. In my opinion the author goes way to far into detail about every little thing. It helps you imagine what everything looks like around the character, but does not describe some important things.
